Portland State University Library Learning Area
This project was an interior renovation of an existing computer lab within the campus main library. The computer lab area was enlarged to accommodate 58 computers, 3 scanning stations, 3 accessible workstations and a reception desk. An enclosed interior room was added to allow for student collaboration, incorporating wall mounted LCD displays, touch-screen computers, floor to ceiling write-able walls and large pivot doors to allow for reconfiguration of the space. Bar height, electrified counters were added along the curved front window of the library to allow for individual study and park views.
